Udala NLO Preseason : Aspire Tears Enyimba Feeders Apart, As Udala Sneaks Into Semis

Host team of the ongoing Udala Preseason Tournament in Nanka, Anambra State, Udala FC scrambled through to the knockout stage of the maiden competition after edging past Godosky FC in an unplanned manner.

Udala had the same points (4) and goal differences as Godosky FC after three games in their group (A). This led to the decision taken by the organizers to adopt the Lucky Dip (Toss of Coin) method to decide the team that advances. The event which went in favour of Udala FC took place at Top Class Hotel at exactly 10AM.
Udala FC, having finished second in group A after suffering a heavy defeat in the hands of underdog, DOSAD will face the group leader of Group B, Aspire FC.

Meanwhile, run away leaders of Group B, Aspire FC picked Enyimba Feeders apart in their last group game by 3 goals to 1. Enyimba who took the lead in the first half never saw the defeat coming, as a draw would have ensured qualification to the next round.

While the game was level, Aspire FC were dealt a heavy blow when their player was given his matching orders. Instead of demoralising them, it inspired them to grind out the shocking result steering them to success.
